Non-Hospital Volunteering

Besides hospital volunteering, you should be involved with some social cause/ volunteer organization. This is a great way to give back to your community and participate in something you are passionate about. Maybe homelessness is a pervasive issue in your community and that inspired you to volunteer at your local homeless shelter. Maybe you are passionate about mentorship so that inspired you to volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America to serve as a positive role model for a youth mentee. Whatever your calling is, pursue it!
